I mentioned briefly before that I was shaving my head to treat my psoriasis by using a tanning bed rather than continue with steroids, or taking pills. And the dermatologist I saw said she didn't think my insurance would cover the shot but I'd rather try this first than give myself a shot too. Hair can grow back. But in the meantime, I feel vain but, I hate this. I'm always wearing a hat or my wig. The tanning is only having a little effect so far but hoping for a greater one as time goes on. This is me with my wig:

It's not the easiest to tell but if you could see me in person, along my hair line my scalp is very red or covered in white scabs if I haven't treated it with anything for a while. I hope this tanning works and maybe I can just maintain getting sun to my scalp with my hair a little longer instead of this long term. I don't know if anyone else is going through this, but I hope they know they aren't alone.
